The Coalition is here to form an alliance for webmasters/webmistresses to create and maintain a positive business atmosphere in which valuable insight, information, resources, experience and traffic can be exchanged. We firmly believe that a successful web presence does not require webmasters to use underhanded techniques to achieve success and we will not tolerate those who do. All of the members of the Coalition have reached their varied levels of success by conducting their business in a positive manner. The Coalition is NOT a place for soap operas nor is it to be seen as a "clique". Amateur Coalition was formed to provide a location for professionally minded webmasters/webmistresses to network and allow them to combine their strengths to create/maintain a positive and professional web presence on not only the "Internet" but amongst ourselves as well. Amateur Coalition has it's Perks The following is a list of benefits to being associated with Amateur Coalition. AC Members and Affiliates in good standing will qualify for a discount on hosting prices with CandidHosting AC Members and Affiliates in good standing will qualify for a rate of 11.5% when your billing is set up through CCBill AC Members and Affiliates in good standing will receive 25% off the cost of a membership to APIC (Association for the Protection of Internet Copyrights). Amateur Coalition Membership Application Information Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Amateur Coalition. We are a new network comprised of positive people wanting to accomplish positive things for ourselves, our fellow webmasters as well as the valued surfer. It is our desire to help create a friendly atmosphere in the amateur industry where people work together as a team. Below you will find some of the criteria for being voted in as an Amateur Coalition Member. If you feel that you and your website meets this criteria we would like to invite you to become a member. Again, thank you for your interest and we look forward to hearing from you. Criteria for Membership: 1) You must be an affiliate of Amateur Coalition already, and, in good standing (i.e. you must be showing as an affiliate at this time by sending in a minimum of 5 hits per day to show that you are listed). 2) You must have and continue to proudly display the Amateur Coalition link from your website. 3) Your site must be surfer friendly and easy to navigate. 4) Whatever you claim to have in your members area (what you promote from your free side) must actually be in your members area. There should be no false advertising on your site or misleading claims. 5) You must have a GENUINE desire to work as a team to not only help yourself but to also help other fellow webmasters. 6) You must be willing and available to participate in Amateur Coalition Member meetings and have a desire to actively post to the boards inorder to share information with your fellow webmasters. 7) Your site must be in compliance with 18USC2257 standards and must not have any copyright violations within your site. 8) You must be willing to actively learn and keep up to date with current legal issues affecting our industry.
